
Avellino-Palermo, three DASPOs are triggered after the Partenio riots
News: Three Prohibition of Access to Sports Events (DASPO) orders were issued by the Anti-Crime Division of the Avellino Police Headquarters against as many individuals residing in the province of Irpinia and in the capital. The measures are the result of an investigative activity conducted by D. I. G. O. S. of Avellino, under the coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in relation to the events that occurred at the end of the U. S. race. Avellino 1912 – Palermo, played last 20 December at the Partenio-Lombardi stadium. The episode immediately triggered the prevention measures required by current legislation on safety at sporting events. The provision is also extended to matches played abroad by Italian teams and the Italian national team, confirming the wide scope of the measures adopted to protect public order and safety in stadiums.
