Lupo: «Palermo wasted yet another opportunity in Mantua»

As for Palermo, Lupo did not hide his disappointment at the defeat against Mantova, defining the opportunity as “wasted for the umpteenth time”. A judgment that is not limited to the current season alone, but which also concerns the recent past of the Rosanero team: “I can’t count how many times Palermo have wasted opportunities,” added the sporting director. Despite everything, the Sicilian team remains firmly in fourth place in the Serie B standings, currently in the playoff zone. Sampdoria’s situation, however, is much more critical, with the Blucerchiati currently third to last in Serie A, virtually relegated to Serie C, even if the championship is still long and there is room to recover.
