Avella towards Guidonia: Palermo frees up a slot over
News: Palermo is preparing for another outgoing operation, this time in the goalkeeping department. Arriving in September as a free agent, Avella was hired to deal with the simultaneous unavailability of Gomis and Bardi, covering the role of second goalkeeper behind Joronen. His move to Palermo proved to be transitory and without official appearances. With Avella out, the hierarchies between the posts for the rest of the season now seem to be defined. Joronen will remain the undisputed starter, Gomis will return to the role of second after his physical recovery, while Balaguss, a young player on the rise, will close the list of three goalkeepers.
