Giornale di Sicilia: “Palermo, cinquina and armored door: Barbera becomes a bunker”
News: Barbera confirms itself as a fortress and Palermo continues to build its run brick by brick. Since then, highlights Alessandro Arena of the Giornale di Sicilia, no other team has managed to score against Palermo in matches against Pescara, Carrarese, Sampdoria, Padova and Spezia, all beaten at Barbera. For the rest, between decisive interventions by Joronen, attention from the individuals and even a pinch of luck – such as Artistico’s post in the 92nd minute against Spezia – Palermo has always found a way to remedy the situation. Inzaghi had asked to maintain the same spirit between home and away games and now Palermo will have two away games to make up for it. On Saturday we hope to relive a similar scenario, with Barbera remaining the strong point and the external road to be made equally solid.
