Begic: “Bitter result. We showed quality and desire to play for it”
News: The Sampdoria striker, who scored the temporary 1-1 goal in the match against Palermo, spoke in the mixed zone at the end of the match to comment on his team’s performance. “We showed that we can compete with anyone and that we can win every match. In the end it’s a shame, because we were winning 3-1 and we weren’t able to take it home: the result leaves a bitter aftertaste,” he declared. Begic then added: “It still remains an important point, even if given the progress of the race we deserved more. But we showed quality and desire to play.”
