News: As Alessandro Geraci points out in la Repubblica Palermo, it is not common for a defender to have this continuity in front of goal. Yet Pierozzi transformed the right lane into an offensive springboard, becoming a balancer capable of combining coverage and depth. If Pohjanpalo represents the gravitational center of the Rosanero attack, Pierozzi is the planet who inserts himself at the right time, often at the far post, exploiting crosses and aerial banks. The City Group is aiming for a return to the football that counts and, if Pohjanpalo is the face on the cover, Pierozzi is the operational soul of a team that has started dreaming again. Promotion remains an objective to be achieved on the pitch, but with a defender-bomber like this, Palermo can look forward with confidence.
