Tuttosport: “European Championships 2032, Abodi: five stadiums in…
News: As reported by Tuttosport, the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi took stock of the situation of the Italian facilities that will host the continental event. There will be five designated stadiums, with the Olimpico in Rome and the Allianz Stadium in Turin already virtually certain of their candidacy. “It’s still an open competition, theoretically for five stadiums,” explained Abodi, as reported by Tuttosport. In September it will be the FIGC’s turn to officially indicate the five candidate stadiums, while in October UEFA will formalize the final choice. As reiterated by Tuttosport, the commissioner in charge will receive the appointment decree on Monday and will thus be able to operate at full capacity, speeding up the bureaucratic and organizational process.
