News: We get to the heart of the redevelopment project for the Renzo Barbera stadium area. The mayor of Palermo Roberto Lagalla has in fact called the preliminary services conference dedicated to the intervention presented by Palermo FC for Tuesday 11 March. In the meantime, the Rosanero club has decided to renounce the initial proposal which also included the Hippodrome area, focusing the project exclusively on the redevelopment of the stadium and the surrounding areas. The Superintendency of Cultural Heritage expressed conditional approval, while the River Basin Authority reported that the geomorphological conformity opinion was inadmissible, highlighting the absence of a specific study within the project proposal. The services conference will be held at 3.30 pm at Palazzo Palagonia and will see the participation of various bodies and companies that manage the underground services, called to express their evaluations on the project.
