Cesena, Mignani on his last resort: his stay is at stake against…
News: Period of great changes on the Serie B benches. After the dismissals of Dionisi at Empoli and the Gregucci-Foti duo at Sampdoria – later disqualified for ten matches – Michele Mignani on the Cesena bench would also be at risk. In fact, the former Palermo and Bari coach comes from just one victory in the last nine matchdays, with a record of six defeats and two draws. A performance that was too poor, which caused the Bianconeri to slip to the edge of the playoff zone, with Südtirol just two points away. For this reason, as reported by Resto del Carlino, the match against Frosinone could prove decisive for Mignani’s future. Cesena needs a victory to reverse the trend and return to success: in the event of a negative result, the coach would be sacked, with the possible promotion of the Primavera coach, Nicola Campedelli, to the first team as an interim solution.
