News: Important day for the city of Palermo. In fact, the work of the preliminary services conference on the redevelopment project of the Renzo Barbera stadium ended today, a decisive technical-administrative step in the process of modernizing the city’s sports facility. These are the statements of the CEO of Palermo, Giovanni Gardini, reported in the joint press release: “The successful outcome of the work of the preliminary services conference – states the CEO of Palermo Giovanni Gardini – has given Palermo the opportunity to reconfirm its willingness to make a shared commitment to the creation of a modern and functional stadium, for the benefit of the entire community”. All this strengthens Palermo’s position in the increasingly narrow list of candidate cities to host Euro 2032, thus enabling further opportunities for common development”. And for this we once again thank the Mayor and all the municipal offices for their efforts.”
