Palermo is at Serie A pace: only Venezia has done better in the last…
News: Palermo has a Serie A pace: only Venezia has done better in the last 20 matches. In the last twenty days of the championship, Palermo has a direct promotion pace even if the table at the moment still sees the rosanero in fourth place with two points away from third-placed Monza and four behind second-placed Frosinone with Venezia which is instead at the top with seven points more than Filippo Inzaghi's team. And the orange-greens, as we read in the Giornale di Sicilia, are the only cadet team that in the same period of time has obtained more points, 49, than Palermo. One point more than the Ciociari, who will be the next opponents in an almost decisive direct clash, and above all seven more than a Monza team that has slowed down in recent weeks, three draws in a row, still collecting 37 points in twenty races. Moreover, it was already clear in recent weeks that the progress of Inzaghi's team was an important one, with the Rosanero team traveling at the same pace, or almost, as Pisa who won Serie A last year behind Sassuolo. An acceleration, that of the last twenty matches, which now must be confirmed in this final rush of the championship to try to overtake the rivals and celebrate the return to Serie A for ten years.
