News: Renzo Barbera, making great strides towards financial coverageThe mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla, underlined the importance of a crucial phase for the future of the city and Palermo, highlighting how the Renzo Barbera stadium represents not only a sports facility, but an identity symbol made of memory, passion and belonging for generations of Rosanero fans. Lagalla explained that a concrete step has been taken towards the redevelopment of the stadium, thanks to a strengthened collaboration between the Municipality, Palermo and the Sicilian Region. In particular, he highlighted the role of the Region, which decided to contribute significantly to the renovation project. The mayor also thanked the President of the Region Renato Schifani for sharing this vision, underlining how the synergy between institutions can allow Palermo to return to being a protagonist in major competitions, both on and off the field.
