News: As reported by the Giornale di Sicilia, the project of an intelligent stadium based on advanced digital technologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) and the Digital Twin, i. e. the so-called digital twin, is taking shape. According to the Giornale di Sicilia, it is a new approach to the design and management of sports facilities: a digital replica of the stadium capable of monitoring each component in real time, reporting any critical issues, maintenance times and the need for intervention. Il Giornale di Sicilia highlights how the initiative, promoted by the Bim2025 Sicilia Committee together with Palermo FC, aims to create the first Sicilian stadium managed through a digital twin, with benefits in terms of efficiency, sustainability and planning. Il Giornale di Sicilia also underlines how the presentation event involved institutions and sector experts, called to discuss the prospects of BIM in sports facilities. An ambitious project, concludes the Giornale di Sicilia, which marks a concrete step towards an increasingly digital future also for Palermo football.
