Palermo mourns little Alessia
News: Painful news that arrived during the night has struck the heart of the Rosanero: little Alessia, the very young Palermo fan who had courageously fought against rhabdomyosarcoma for years, has passed away. Her story had moved fans and the city, gathered around her during the long battle. The bond with Palermo and with vice-captain Jacopo Segre, who has always been close to her, is strong. Also beloved by the Curva rosanero, Alessia had become a symbol of strength and courage. To allow fans and citizens to pay homage to her, on Wednesday 13 May the funeral chapel will be set up at the Renzo Barbera stadium, the place of her great passion.
