News: Catanzaro will be Palermo's opponent in the Serie BKT playoff semi-final. As Salvatore Orifici explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, the final result reflects what was seen on the pitch: Catanzaro was able to exploit both the field factor and the advantage deriving from the best placing in the standings. According to the Giornale di Sicilia, Palermo will face an opponent that is anything but simple. Catanzaro found continuity by climbing the rankings to fifth place, while Palermo began a long series of useful results that led them to finish fourth. As highlighted by the Giornale di Sicilia, Favasuli represents one of the most dangerous men of the Calabrians, while Di Francesco will have special motivations against Palermo.
