Corriere dello Sport: "Mission rewarded. Palermo believes in it"
News: In his in-depth analysis on Corriere dello Sport, Paolo Vannini analyzes the very heavy 3-0 defeat suffered by Palermo against Catanzaro in the first leg semi-final of the Serie B playoffs, defining it as a real "Waterloo" for Filippo Inzaghi's team. According to Paolo Vannini of Corriere dello Sport, Palermo suddenly lost all those certainties that had accompanied the team for almost nine months of the championship. Paolo Vannini on Corriere dello Sport also focuses on the choice to deploy Magnani at the center of defence, a role which this season had been mainly covered by Peda. Now Palermo is called to a real feat in the Serie B playoff semi-final second leg scheduled at the "Renzo Barbera". To achieve this, however, Palermo will have to immediately rediscover that mentality and solidity which, as Paolo Vannini recalls in the Corriere dello Sport, had allowed the rosanero to close the championship with 72 points.
