Iachini: “Zamparini was giving Vazquez away”
News: Iachini: “Zamparini was giving Vazquez away” Giuseppe Iachini, former Palermo coach from 2013 to 2016, spoke, during an episode of the podcast hosted by My Turnover, about the first impression he had when he saw Franco Vazquez in the first few days. Iachini: “Zamparini was giving Vazquez away” Below is the extract from Beppe Iachini's speech on Mudo Vazquez: “When I arrived he was out of the squad, out of a list of 20 players, but when I saw him I put him in immediately. Then in January I would have to decide who to keep and who to send away. Already in the second training session it was clear that he was good and the boys also noticed it, but no one knew him. President Maurizio Zamparini wanted to sell Vazquez, because he had been on loan twice, even though I wanted to include him in the squad."
