News: Palermo, Osti renews: full trust of the City Group. The new season kicks off tomorrow. Carlo Osti will still be Palermo's sporting director. The official announcement, writes Corriere dello Sport, is expected in the next few days: the manager will extend the contract expiring on 30 June by one year, thus starting his second mandate at the helm of the Rosanero technical area. The City Football Group has given full approval to the line of continuity, confirming the autonomy of the management who have led the club for four years and endorsing Osti's stay in tandem with Filippo Inzaghi without prolonged discussions. Veroli and Giovane, on whom the club had a right of redemption to be exercised by June 30, will not be purchased.
