News: The debate on the 60 million allocated by the Sicilian Region to the redevelopment of the Renzo Barbera is enriched by the official position of the president Renato Schifani. In the letter published by La Sicilia, Schifani underlines that the resources allocated to the project have not been subtracted from works already financed or from interventions underway. As La Sicilia highlights, the president also specifies that the regional contribution will not be allocated to Palermo Calcio, but to the Municipality of Palermo, owner of the facility. In his reply, reported by La Sicilia, Schifani also recalls the possible economic repercussions of the operation. The President of the Region also claimed his government's attention towards sport.
