News: Brunori returns to Palermo, but is destined to leave again: Sampdoria could think about it. Sampdoria and Matteo Brunori could cross paths again after the last six months of last season when the attacker contributed to salvation with three goals and as many assists in 18 appearances. The '94 class will return to Palermo, to which he is linked until 2027, but he is no longer part of the club's plans especially in light of the permanence of Filippo Inzaghi who last year rarely chose him as a starter and then did not oppose his departure in January. As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the attacker, who can play both as a first striker and behind a center forward, will be put back on the market with Sampdoria who are thinking about strengthening the department with a player who not only knows Serie B, but also the Genoese square. At the moment, however, the Sampdoria club has other priorities such as the appointment of the new sporting director, with the Portuguese Branco in pole position, and subsequently of the coach – Lars Friis, Ryan Mason, Raphael Wicky, Mark van Bommel, Bo Bjornholt Henriksen and Julio Velazquez are the names that have emerged so far – to whom to entrust the team. After having covered these two roles he will also talk about the incoming and outgoing market with the name of Brunori which could be useful if he were to be approved by the new technical staff.
