Barbera Stadium, Palermo will also cover the public 30 million:…
News: Palermo FC takes a decisive step for the future of the Renzo Barbera stadium and for the city's candidacy to host some Euro 2032 matches. The Rosanero club has in fact communicated its willingness to also support the 30 million euros initially foreseen as a share of public financing in the Economic and Financial Plan (PEF) of the redevelopment project of the stadium. The outcome of the Conference had given the green light to the project, however making the continuation of the process subject to obtaining the entire amount of public funding of 30 million euros envisaged in the economic-financial plan. To avoid any slowdown and safeguard the timetable imposed by UEFA and FIGC, Palermo has chosen to intervene directly. With the availability shown by Palermo, one of the main obstacles to the project seems to have been overcome.
