News: Palermo is also ready to support the share of 30 million euros initially intended for public financing for the redevelopment of the Renzo Barbera stadium. In the communication, Palermo confirms that it also wishes to directly support this part of the investment "in order to safeguard the stadium redevelopment project and Palermo's candidacy to host Euro 2032". As Giancarlo Macaluso highlights again in the Giornale di Sicilia, the club defines this choice as an assumption of responsibility, despite the size of the investment, with the aim of allowing the city to reach a goal considered strategic. The intervention allows us to complete the economic framework of the operation, the overall value of which amounts to 298 million euros.
