News: As Giancarlo Macaluso explains in the Giornale di Sicilia, the mayor considers this a strategic challenge not only for the future of the Viale del Fante plant, but also for the development of the city. Il Giornale di Sicilia recalls that the note from the general secretary Raimondo Liotta highlighted how the investigation is still incomplete. According to the Giornale di Sicilia, in addition to completing the administrative process, the possibility of asking the City Council for an exception to the regulatory terms is also being evaluated, reducing the time the resolution remains in the commissions without changing its content. Giancarlo Macaluso in the Giornale di Sicilia underlines that in recent days the offices have continued to accept observations and refine the content of the agreement. Il Giornale di Sicilia reports that, while asking for some guarantees through safeguard clauses, the main political forces are oriented towards supporting the project.
