Repubblica Palermo: “Nuovo Barbera, the agreement between Lagalla and…
News: The long day dedicated to the future of the Nuovo Barbera was marked by a close negotiation which allowed the rift between the Municipality and Palermo FC to be mended. According to La Repubblica Palermo, Palermo president Dario Mirri also contributed to the mediation, aware of the strategic importance of the project for the city. As Repubblica Palermo still highlights, the political agreement gave rise to the amendments to the convention which will assign management of the plant to Palermo for the next 90 years. According to Repubblica Palermo, one of the main points of the discussion concerns article 6, relating to the periodic verification of the Economic and Financial Plan (PEF). The hypothesis that emerged provides that control over the economic performance of the concession will be entrusted to the municipal council, called to verify any deviations in revenues compared to the initial forecasts.
