Nuovo Barbera, Chinnici: «We valorise a public heritage». The quorum…
News: The City Council session dedicated to the agreement for the Nuovo Barbera continues amidst tensions and continuous twists. After the harsh confrontation between the majority and the opposition, the group leader of Work for Palermo, Dario Chinnici, intervened with an appeal to bring serenity back to the debate. In his speech, Chinnici reiterated the symbolic and strategic value of the stadium for the city. However, shortly after Chinnici's speech, as expected, the quorum fell, forcing the president of the city council to adjourn the meeting. The Chamber will resume its work with the quorum reduced to 16 councillors, a circumstance which, at least on paper, could facilitate the centre-right majority in approving the resolution on the Nuovo Barbera convention.
