Palermo, the 4-2-3-1 takes shape: from Le Douaron to Vavassori,…
News: The 2-0 success over Melbourne City, which earned them the conquest of the second edition of the Anglo-Palermitan Trophy, left decidedly encouraging feelings. Among the individuals, the performance of Le Douaron stands out, author of a goal and an assist. Vavassori, on the other hand, came close to his first joy in the Rosanero shirt several times, committing inaccuracies in front of goal, perhaps his biggest flaw. The feeling is that Palermo has now found a precise playing identity and that, with the imminent inclusion of Strefezza, the quality level of the staff can grow further. The transfer market will close on September 1st, but sporting director Osti was clear: "The transfer market is closed for entry, except for any opportunities related to exits."
