Palermo-Lecce 2-0: squad go through, Vavassori and Pohjanpalo score
News: Italian Cup – Palermo-Lecce 2-0: squad go through, Vavassori and Pohjanpalo score. A very good Palermo defeats Lecce 2-0, thus gaining passage to the round of 32 of the Italian Cup where they will face Mantova who yesterday defeated Lazio with the same result. The start of the match was a bit staid, due to the heat, but in the 15th minute the goal arrived which broke the deadlock. The player who grew up in Atalanta's youth team is good at taking advantage of a slumber from Lecce's rearguard who, after Pohjapalo's effort, does not intervene and allows the number nine to find the goal. After the goal, Palermo had to manage the pace that Lecce inevitably tried to raise by showing up near Fortin. In the final minutes of the first half, Pohjapalo scored the second goal.
