Fabio Pecchia is the new coach of Cremonese / OFFICIAL

Cremonese has made official the arrival of Fabio Pecchia as new coach. This is the third change on the bench in a short time, after the experiences of Nicola and Giampaolo. Born in 1973, Pecchia is not a new face for the Cremonese environment: the coach had already been on the Cremo bench between 2020/21 and 2021/22, making a total of 60 appearances and achieving, at the end of the second season, the historic promotion to Serie A, the first for the club after 26 years of absence from the top flight. Arriving in Cremona on 7 January 2021 to replace Pierpaolo Bisoli, Pecchia had first stabilized the team in mid-table, and then signed an extraordinary ride the following year: 20 wins, 10 draws and 9 defeats in 39 games, with the team fighting for direct promotion until the last day, winning it at the last gasp. After his farewell to Cremona in the summer of 2022, the coach continued his journey at Parma, also taking the ducals from Serie B to A in two seasons.
