3rd round of Serie B: promotion-oriented matches
3rd round of Serie B: promotion-oriented matches
3rd round of Serie B: the matches in terms of promotion. What does the third day offer us in relation to the rosanero's competitors, in terms of promotion, obviously Yes, I agree, everyone must think about doing their own thing and not looking at their opponents' homes. But it's not always like this because for example last year Palermo with its 72 points would have been promoted… if it hadn't been that Venice and Frosinone were running more than what had happened in previous years. So it is important to get the three points but also to start looking at what the direct opponents are doing and certainly among these we must include Pisa, Cremonese and Verona and, as the table says, also the fearsome and ambitious Modena. Palermo-Sampdoria, the anticipation grows: the Barbera is full. The matches of this third day do not offer any direct clash between the teams listed above, four will play at home, namely Modena, Verona, Cremonese and Palermo and only Pisa will be involved in Castellammare di Stabia. Modena receives an always fearsome Avellino just as Verona meets an Arezzo fresh from a home defeat by Inzaghi's team.
