Palermo, not only quality: the depth of the rose emerges in
Palermo has lost the first two points of the season, but in Avellino it has earned something perhaps even more useful in perspective: the awareness of being able to stand even when the game does not follow the expected script. The 1-1 of Partenio-Lombardi showed a different face of the team of Filippo Inzaghi, less dominant and more forced to chase, suffer and manage a complicated race. For a training indicated as the main favorite to the promotion in Serie A, it is a step far from trivial. The rosanero struggled more than expected, also because the Avellino managed to raise progressively intensity and pressure, soiling the construction of Palermo and bringing the game on a less congenial soil to the men of Inzaghi. The advantage of Cheddira at 60′ photographed the most difficult moment of the challenge and, for the first time in the championship, Palermo found itself under the score and forced to change quickly inertia.
