Palermo, Strefezza outside List A: Mazzitelli takes its

Now it's official: Luca Mazzitelli joined the A List of Palermo for Serie B 2026/27, taking temporarily the place of the injured Gabriel Strefezza. To communicate it is directly Palermo FC through an official note. The decision came after further clinical insights to determine the extent of the injury reported by the outside rosanero. "The Palermo FC announces that, following the clinical insights carried out regarding the extent of the injury, Gabriel Strefezza has been temporarily replaced – until healing – in the List A of the BKT Series 2026/2027 by Luca Mazzitelli, in compliance with the provisions provided by the Code of Autoregulation of the League B". The scenario emerged in recent days. Mazzitelli becomes immediately usable in the championship by Filippo Inzaghi, while Strefezza will stay out of List A until healing.
