Sheikh Mansour invests another 115 million in the City
New important investment for the City Football Group, the international holding company that controls Manchester City and Palermo. As reported by the Football and Finance team, the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed has undersigned a capital increase of £100 million, equivalent to approximately € 115 million, further strengthening its position within the group. According to Calcium and Finance, which resumes the information published by the British newspaper City AM, from the documents filed at the United Kingdom business register it emerges that on 14 October 11,327,163 new actions were issued. The operation was carried out through Newton Investment and Development, a company that can be traced back to Mansour, thus leading its participation in the City Football Group at about 81%. The remaining share is mainly held by the US Silver Lake Fund.
