Ascoli, Patti: "Everything is done for Gyasi but
The summer transfer market has just ended, with the clubs starting to take stock of the work done. In fact, today Ascoli's sporting director, Mattia Patti, spoke at a press conference and commented on the negotiations with Palermo to bring Emmanuel Gyasi and Matteo Brunori to Juventus. «Alagna was not replaced because it was necessary to pay attention to both the team balance and the technical-tactical ones – explained the sporting director -. We had identified for some time in Gyasi an element that could give us a hand, but we were unable to do so because, after having reached an agreement with all the parties, Palermo decided to keep him" Patti then added: "It must however be said that we did not have a strong need to intervene because we have Oliveri, in whom we believe, and then there is Milanese, who is disengaging himself admirably. We feel covered, we have maximum confidence in the boys we have" The sporting director also spoke about the negotiation that brought Matteo Brunori to Juventus: "Brunori, contrary to what one might think, was the easiest negotiation because the will of the boy and the agents, the new curve, the enthusiasm that can be felt in the city had an influence, we sunk the blow and managed to bring him here with great pride" Finally, the sporting director has no doubts about the seasonal objective: "The objective this year is to remain united: last year we built something important by uniting and staying united all year round»«»
