News: “Nice to see Mattarella among the people, reminding us that sport is not just competition, but also community and belonging.” These are the words of Avellino's patron, Angelo D'Agostino, who took to his social channels to comment on the presence of the Head of State at the "Barbera", on the occasion of the match subsequently won by the rosanero. “I shook hands with the one who represents the unity of our Nation, and I did so as president of US Avellino, with the awareness of bringing with me a city, a fanbase, a territory that pours passion and identity into this club,” he continued. Finally, a personal thank you: “Thanks to President Mattarella for being in this stadium, in his Palermo. Meeting him was a privilege we won't forget."
