News: Palermo's race towards Euro 2032 continues to fuel the regional political debate. As La Sicilia reports, Mayor Roberto Lagalla intervened publicly in support of the President of the Region Renato Schifani after the controversy that arose around the choice to allocate 60 million euros to the redevelopment project of the Renzo Barbera stadium. According to what La Sicilia reports, Lagalla considers regional financing a fundamental step not only for Palermo but for the whole of Sicily. A choice con ed by the national deputy Manlio Messina and, more recently, also by the regional Forza Italia parliamentarian Nicola D'Agostino. As La Sicilia underlines, the opposition and part of the majority itself continue to con the concentration of resources on a single work to the detriment of the other Sicilian municipalities.
