Benevento, Floro Flores fury after the draw: "Social
There is a lot of bitterness in the words expressed by coach Antonio Floro Flores during the usual press conference at the end of the match which ended in a one-to-one draw between Benevento and Sudtirol. The Giallorossi coach did not hide a hint of frustration at a match he dominated but which brought only one point. «To be completely honest, I really don't feel like making any moves on my players, the entire group really gave their all on the pitch. I was just commenting with Monticciolo on how many matches of this type I have had to play in my career, that is, matches in which you produce an impressive number of goals without being able to capitalize on them and then you are promptly punished with the very first shot conceded to your opponents, it is an extremely frustrating feeling but the game of football is also made up of these episodes.» The coach then focused on the action of the conceded goal, clearing the individuals and highlighting the overall dynamic that led to the team's draw guest. «You can interpret it exactly as you like but I feel like excluding individual amnesia on Saio's part, the truth is that we were literally surprised by a sudden reversal of attitude. It's a dynamic that can materialize when you project yourself forward almost all the time, leaving room for your rivals' first real offensive sortie. Honestly, it's starting to take a toll on being constantly punished in this way in widely played matches, and it's a regret that I fully share with the whole team." During the meeting with journalists there was also space to analyze the choices made during the match with the changes made from the bench. "What particular reasons were there behind the rotations made?
