Calori: “Palumbo? Palermo is an important place but he would be fine…
News: Alessandro Calori, a coach remembered mainly for the Portogruaro fairy tale but with many benches in Serie B behind him, spoke to the microphones of Pianeta Serie B of the cadet championship, spending honeyed words on Palermo midfielder Antonio Palumbo. Calori coached Palumbo on two occasions, at the beginning of the Rosanero number 5’s career, at Trapani and Ternana: “I know Palumbo well and he was a young boy. “Palermo is an important place – continues Calori – but he would fit in very well in Serie A in a mid-table team because he has quality and quantity. He plays as a midfielder, he can play as a point guard, as a midfielder, I’m surprised that he’s still in Serie B because for me he’s an important player. After Trapani I also took him to Terni because the boy has above average quality.”
