News: As long as there's no math… With two days to go, Palermo has a very remote chance of finishing third in the standings. But to have hope it is also necessary for Monza to score at least one point and not arrive at the same time as Palermo and Frosinone. A difference of seven goals: if Palermo won their matches with the minimum difference and Frosinone lost them with the minimum difference, the Ciociaria would always come out on top. Palermo would therefore need to win with several goals to spare and/or Frosinone would lose their matches in a bad way. As is easy to imagine, the chances of third place are less than 1%.
