Ceccaroni: “Well done at understanding where we went wrong. We will be protagonists”
News: After the defeat against Juve Stabia last November 8, Filippo Inzaghi’s Palermo has definitely changed gear: seven consecutive useful results resulting from 4 wins and 3 draws. “We started to play better – the rosanero defender Pietro Ceccaroni told the columns of the Giornale di Sicilia -, to create more, to be more of a team and this certainly brought us excellent performances and good results. We know that we are halfway through our journey, we must give continuity to what we are doing, trying to improve where we know we can improve.” On the overall trend in this first half of the season, however, the former Venezia player explains: “We certainly could have done better, there was a period in the middle of the first round where things didn’t go very well, but if we are good at understanding where we went wrong, I’m sure we can play the second round as protagonists. We also know that we have to look at ourselves, without looking too much at the rankings, it’s still early.”
