News: Palermo's candidacy to host some Euro 2032 matches is safe. As Antonio La Rosa explains in Corriere dello Sport, the approval of the resolution on the new agreement between the Municipality and Palermo FC made it possible to respect the deadline set by the FIGC and UEFA, allowing the city to forward the necessary documentation to stay in the running. Also on the same line is the president of the Sicilian Region, Renato Schifani, who confirmed the Region's support through the allocation of 60 million euros for the redevelopment of the plant. As Corriere dello Sport underlines, the approval of the resolution does not, however, conclude the administrative process. Only after this step will the new document return to the Council and the Chamber for examination to definitively complete the procedure.
