Corriere dello Sport: “Palermo for Alessia”
News: As Paolo Vannini explains in the pages of Corriere dello Sport, the Rosanero team will carry within itself the memory of Alessia, the 8-year-old girl who became a symbol of courage, passion and unconditional love for Palermo. In the story written by Paolo Vannini for Corriere dello Sport, Palermo stopped to say goodbye to its little fan, who passed away in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday after a long battle with cancer. Among the most significant moments recounted by Corriere dello Sport and Paolo Vannini, also the arrival of around 40 Catania fans. A gesture that goes beyond the historic football rivalry between the two fans and which ifies to how much Alessia's story has touched everyone's hearts. As Paolo Vannini underlines in his in-depth analysis in Corriere dello Sport, CEO Gardini was there to welcome the coffin at the stadium, while in the afternoon President Mirri also arrived, deeply moved: "Palermo will not forget the example of this little warrior".
