News: Palermo is called to resolve one of the main issues in the construction of the squad in view of the 2026/27 season: that of the Under. As Antonio La Rosa explains in Corriere dello Sport, the Rosanero club is now close to the maximum limit of 18 Over players that can be included in the list and, consequently, will have to orient the next market operations towards young profiles. According to Antonio La Rosa of Corriere dello Sport, the failure to redeem Giovane and Veroli, the move of Patryk Peda to the Overs and the probable departures of Vasic and Giacomo Corona are practically eliminating the Under quota currently present in the workforce. As Antonio La Rosa highlights again in the Corriere dello Sport, Palermo is not looking for youngsters destined exclusively to complete the squad, but for Under players ready to compete for a starting shirt and increase the quality level of the team. In terms of releases, Corriere dello Sport underlines that Claudio Gomes, despite being on the market, does not affect the lists as he is a flagship player.
