News: In parallel with the negotiations to strengthen Filippo Inzaghi's team, the redevelopment project of the Renzo Barbera stadium continues to occupy a central role, considered strategic for the future of the club and the city. As Paolo Vannini points out in the Corriere dello Sport, the date circled in red is 15 July, when the decision-making conference of the services will be held. A fundamental appointment that will bring together all the bodies involved in the authorization process and which will have to lead to the definitive approval of the restyling project of the plant and the surrounding areas. With this in mind, as Paolo Vannini recalls in the Corriere dello Sport, a visit to the Sicilian capital by a UEFA delegation is also planned which will have to evaluate the state of the facility and the prospects linked to the modernization project. For Palermo the redevelopment of Barbera represents much more than a simple infrastructural intervention.
