Cremonese, Giampaolo sacked: the replacement is Pecchia
Cremonese sacked Marco Giampaolo: a strong decision, made after the passage of the Italian Cup at the home of a higher category team like Parma. However, Cremo had come back from two consecutive defeats in the first two league games, something considered unacceptable for the ambitions of the club, which is aiming for a quick rise back to Serie A. The clear 0-3 on the second day against Modena certainly had an impact. In his place there will be Fabio Pecchia and it's a return. After starting out in the Napoli youth sector, he began his career as a coach, leading several teams, including Verona, Cremonese and Parma. It was with Parma that he achieved promotion to Serie A in the 2023/24 season, bringing the ducals back to the top flight.
