News: OFFICIAL – Cremonese, PontissoU. S. hit Cremonese announces that it has definitively acquired from the U. S. company Catanzaro 1929 the rights to Simone Pontisso's sporting performances. A midfielder capable of combining quality and quantity, he was born in San Daniele del Friuli on 20 March 1997 and trained in the youth sector of Udinese, making his debut in Serie A at the age of twenty. With 141 games played, 12 goals and 19 assists overall, in the last four seasons he has been among the protagonists of Catanzaro who first achieved promotion to Serie B in 2023 and then three consecutive qualifications for the playoffs, culminating in reaching the final last season. In his career he has also worn the shirts of Spal (2016-17), Vicenza (2019-21) and Pescara (2022), contributing to a promotion to Serie A and one to Serie B. In total he played 145 games in the second division and 84 in the third series.
