News: Sebastiano Desplanches and Aljosa Vasic will leave Palermo within a few hours: the two young (but no longer very young) players have made the decision, in mutual agreement with the club, to play their chances elsewhere. The love between Desplanches and Palermo never blossomed: the goalkeeper arrived in the summer of 2023 and played just 25 games in two seasons in the pink jersey. In the first he was Pigliacelli's second for the whole year, and then surprisingly used in the playoff matches under the guidance of Mignani. In the second season, thanks to Gomis' injury (and the previous sale of Pigliacelli), he was promoted to first goalkeeper, making 21 appearances. Vasic was requested by "half" of Serie B: Avellino, Vicenza, Sampdoria, Empoli, Sudtirol and Padova received information on the player.
