Di Marzio: “Palermo, Cassandro's idea to strengthen the defence”
News: According to what was reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rosanero club would have targeted Tommaso Cassandro, a defender born in 2000 currently working for Catanzaro. The company led by Filippo Inzaghi, after the failed promotion to Serie A, is working to strengthen the backfield and build an even more competitive team for the next Serie B championship. Cassandro knows the category well. Raised in Cittadella, he made 55 appearances in Serie B with the Venetian club before moving to Lecce in January 2023. He subsequently moved to Como, where he made 21 appearances between Serie B and the Italian Cup, before joining Catanzaro in the summer of 2024. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Palermo are evaluating the profile of the full-back as a possible reinforcement for the right lane in view of the new season.
