On January 24, 1932, the doors of the “Stadio Littorio” were opened for the first time, the first historical nucleus of what would become, forever, the home of Palermo fans: the stadium of the Favorita, the Renzo Barbera. That day Palermo-Atalanta was played, in Serie B, 5-1 for the rosanero. A few thousand spectators who were able to attend that historic match, mostly settled on the “popular meadows” on the sides of the field, where the big ones now stand out curves.
Today that audience around the green lawn has over 36 thousand seats and, outside the stadium, hundreds of thousands of fans scattered throughout Italy and the rest of the world, thanks to the community of Palermo abroad, one of the largest, the result of great mass emigration of the first post-war period and of the many young people who still today decide to specialize and work away from home.

From today, January 21, and until February 28, it will be possible to request the free code, which will guarantee free viewing of the matches for one month from the first day of activation, starting from the evening big match of January 24, Catanzaro-Palermo ( for requests arriving by 10 am on Sunday 23 January).
To celebrate the anniversary of the founding of Barbera, Palermo and Eleven Sports have decided to give a gift to those fans abroad who, thanks to the live streaming of the matches, can feel seated in that much-loved stadium, which blows out 90 candles on Monday. For the occasion, in fact, all fans abroad who request them will be given free codes to follow a month of Palermo matches, right at the start of the second round full of unmissable challenges. The codes will be activated only from other countries, outside the Italian territory, all over the world.
To request the codes, just register on the Official Palermo App, available on the Play Store and App Store, and write an email to comunicazione@palermofc.com, indicating name, surname, telephone number, and the email address with which you have registered on the Palermo app.
Once the data and the actual registration have been verified, the communication office will reply to the email with the free code to be redeemed directly on elevensports.com and immediately start watching the Palermo matches for free.
