Six minutes later the second goal arrived: Monaco recovered the ball in midfield, overcame several opponents and provided a perfect assist to Raballo, who made no mistake from a few steps away. Palermo tried to react with the substitutions made by Cristiano Del Grosso, but Empoli continued to push, coming close to scoring the third goal several times. In the second half, however, the greater intensity and quality of the hosts made the difference.
