Renzo Barbera is fully in the race for Euro 2032. Today Figc will send to the Uefa the dossiers of the plants considered potentially suitable to host the event that Italy will organize together with Turkey. Among the nominations that will start at Nyon there will also be that of Palermo, which could play one of the last two places available especially with Naples and Florence. As Ivan Cardia rebuilds, at the moment only the Allianz Stadium in Turin already meets all the 125 structural and operational requirements required by the Uefa, including those relating to media, hospitality and services. The Federcalcio, however, shows optimism because the plants in line with the planned route would be many more than five that will eventually be chosen. "The stadiums are not ready, except one, but we must ensure that certain things will be there", the federal president Giovanni Malagò explained.
